The new Husky BITE SAE Hex Bit Socket Set featuring non-slip bit technology is made from a durable steel alloy for reduced wear. Featuring a unique hex profile on the gripping end, these bit sockets offer the user 10% more applicable torque while reducing the chance of rounding out. BITE Bit sockets are designed to remove partially rounded hex cap fasteners and reduce the risk of rounding them in the first place. Innovative design increases grip and reduces fastener rounding. Bit socket set is designed for use with 3/8 in. drive tools. SAE set includes a storage rail that can hang or go in a drawer. Set includes seven 3/8 drive hex bit sockets: SAE 1/8, 5/32, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, and 7/16. BITE design improves grip allowing for removal of rounded or worn fasteners. Bit sockets attach to 3/8 drive tools, such as a ratchet or breaker bar, providing a longer handle and more leverage than standard hex keys or screwdrivers. Chamfered lead-in sockets and bits help to provide fast and easy placement onto drive tools and fasteners. Cold-formed chrome alloy steel socket base and heat-treated S2 tool steel bits for outstanding durability and strength. Large, hard-stamped size markings allow for easy identification of socket size. Polished chrome sockets easily wipe clean of oil and dirt. Chrome finish provides corrosion resistance and added durability. Bits are color coded for quick identification, black for metric, silver for SAE. Overtorquing increases the risk of stripping the fastener or causing damage to the bit.
